TheraHaus provides a safe, professional space for mental health, where your unique story is met with genuine empathy and expert care for total wellness.
Individual & Couples Therapy
Individual Therapy
Sometimes life feels like a heavy weight to carry alone. In our individual sessions, we provide a warm, judgment-free space to explore your inner world, navigate transitions, and build the tools you need to feel grounded and empowered in your daily life. Together, we move toward healing at your own pace.
Couples Therapy
Relationships are the foundation of our lives, but they aren't always easy. Whether you're navigating conflict or simply looking to reconnect, we offer a safe environment to improve communication, foster intimacy, and build a shared path forward together. We focus on connection before theory.
Bria Hawkins-Carty: A Lil' Self Disclosure
I have always been passionate about helping people—I just didn’t know in what capacity until General Psych with Dr. Webster at Tyler Junior College, where I obtained my Associate’s in Psychology. My undergrad degree is from the University of Texas at Tyler in Psychology, and I completed grad school at Grand Canyon University, earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Empathy has always been an intrinsic trait that I've had. I truly believe that empathy is a GIFT—to truly be able to FEEL someone's story without judgment and with deep compassion.
I'm a wife, a mom, and a poetry lover, and I go to therapy myself (because every therapist needs a therapist).
My style is compassionate, empathic, and caring, and once rapport is built, I will gently invite you into the uncomfortable places that help us grow. I'm also big on connection. I truly believe that most people have the capacity to grow when they have the right person walking the journey with them.

For ADHD Minds & Highly Sensitive Souls
I work with individuals who feel deeply, think quickly, and often struggle to execute—not because they don’t care, but because their nervous system is constantly taking in too much.
I understand the internal chaos that doesn’t always match the outside world. The racing thoughts. The emotional overwhelm. The frustration of knowing what you want to do—yet feeling stuck when it’s time to do it.
Many of my clients are highly sensitive, empathic, or emotionally intuitive. You may absorb the moods of others, feel easily overstimulated, or carry a quiet exhaustion from trying to keep up in a world that moves too fast and explains too little.
In our work together, we don’t focus on “fixing” you. We focus on understanding your system.
We explore:
- Emotional regulation for sensitive nervous systems
- Shame cycles tied to procrastination and burnout
- Executive dysfunction without judgment
- Boundaries for empaths who over-give
- Turning sensitivity into self-trust instead of self-criticism
This space is for people who have been told they’re “too much” or “not enough”—often at the same time.
Here, your sensitivity is not a liability. It’s information.
And together, we learn how to work with it instead of against it.
